I was born in Arlington, VA and am an artist based in Alexandria, VA. Holding both an Associates of Fine Arts in Visual Arts from Northern Virginia Community College. And a Bachelor of Arts in Design Studies with a minor in Graphic and Media Design from Marymount University. 

My creative journey started off when I was young child, I would watch activity programs on the TV and follow along the guided tutorials with the cartoonist, drawing on my giant paper pad.

While in high school, my love for art grew immensely due to the influence of my art teacher. Which helped to spark the idea of being in the art field in general and potentially having my own art business, however I ended up exploring other career options such as psychology and law first (spoiler, it didn’t work out).

While in community college, I continued to toggle with the idea of having my own art business. Yet, still unsure how to execute it, I redirected back to exploring other art careers. While studying art education, I discovered I thrived well with consistent change of environment and flexibility in my career. Leading me to eventually change my major to Design Studies.

After obtaining my undergraduate degree, I began working as an in-house artist at a custom stationery shop where I drew and painted venues, pets, and cocktails for wedding stationery. It was here, in an incidental manner. I learned more about the wedding industry, which lead to discovering the world of live event painting. Everything had clicked for me, and the rest is history!

On my free time, I love to ride my bicycle or go to the gym. My favorite subjects to paint are characters from horror movies, some of my comfort movies are The Conjuring, The Nun, Annabelle, and Terrifier.
