What is Live wedding painting?
It is a form of fine art performance that captures a meaningful moment from your event as it unfolds in real time.
How does it work?
I recreate your chosen moment on canvas on-site. Next I refine and varnish the painting in my studio, transforming it into a custom heirloom to be cherished for years to come. This interactive unique experience provides an everlasting memory for you and your guests.

My process:
Design consultation: This is where we will talk through your vision and what details that matter to you. We will review your chosen moment, event timeline, and any other elements you would like incorporated into the composition.
Event Day - Preparation & Setup: I arrive 2-3 hours prior to the ceremony to set up my workspace and paint the desired background and it’s special elements.
Capturing the Moment: During the celebration, I take a photo and reference your selected moment for the painting. (for example: the first kiss at the ceremony or special embrace)
Live Painting Experience: As reception unfolds, I continue painting live where guests are able to observe the artwork come to life. This interactive element becomes part of the celebration itself.
The Reveal: Before the evening concludes, I will reveal the painting to the couple.
Studio Refinement: The painting is not fully completed at the event, I will take the painting to the studio to refine details and apply a protective varnish.
Delivery: Once complete, your finished heirloom is carefully packaged and either shipped or hand-delivered (if you’re local) within 7-10 weeks.

Final package price may increase based on selected add-ons and travel requirements. Pets are typically added during the studio refinement stage using reference photos. Rush completion is expedited post event finishing and delivery. All travel logistics and fees are finalized and confirmed prior to booking.

Up to 5-6 hours of on-site painting

Starting at $2,150 + tax

One 16 × 20 inch acrylic painting
Up to 6-7 hours of on-site painting

Travel & Lodging
Local: Included within 15 miles of Alexandria, VA.
Extended Travel: Events beyond 15 miles, will have an additional travel fee based on distance and location.
Destination: Events 3+ hours away, may require additional travel fees, and up to 1-2 nights of lodging.
